The city is considered by locals to be a great option for raising a family, as the crime rates are low and the public school system is excellent with a low student to teacher ratio, which ...Read More is ideal for young learners. West St. Paul is also close to St. Paul Downtown Airport, which serves as the main airport for the region's corporate and shipping needs. The airport also has a flight school and many amenities like restaurants for people enjoy while watching planes take off.

The shopping, dining and nightlife options in West St. Paul are good. The city has a mall (Signal Hills Shopping Center) and many other options for dining and nightlife that keep the city vibrant and gives something for people of all ages to enjoy. The city is vibrant with culture and boasts a high level of diversity.
