ned, and expensive. For entertainment, however, West Menlo Park is distinctly quiet with barely a Starbucks on one end and a Safeway on the other although it IS a quick drive/bike ride to various shopping and eating locations. There is Menlo Park's quaint downtown with restaurants, cafes and expensive boutiques - it's about 2 miles away. There's also the Stanford Shopping Center, 2-3 miles away and downtown Palo Alto is about a 10 minute drive. As long as you don't mind hopping into your car or on your bike to get outside of W Menlo Park, there's plenty nearby.
