Little West River was so fun to live in! Being an unincorporated piece of land inside the city of Miami married the best of both living in a large city while remaining a tight knit community with my neighbors. It was a challenge getting used to the weather since it is always hot in Little West River, but I soon appreciated the weather in the winter when I wasn't hit with a major blizzard like my friends up north.
One of my favorite parts of living in Little West River was how much of a family town it is. Almost 3/4 the population are 44 or younger. My kids loved getting to know the other people in our neighborhood and in their schools. Of course my kids also loved being so close to the oceans which made summer vacation a blast! We spent far less on travel since we lived so close to the beach and no longer needed to travel to get there.
