West Haverstraw: Everything that you Desire within Walking Distance User Rating 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) I really enjoy living in West Haverstraw, New York. The neighborhood around here is great. My neighbors are very friendly and are so supportive of my diverse family.

The surrounding school district is amazing. My children attend Thiells Elementary School and Fieldstone Middle ...Read More School and they love it! We have never had better teachers then what we have now.

The best areas in West Haverstraw, New York include the amazing restaurants. There are multiple restaurants here both locally owned and chain that offer some amazing food. If it is coffee that you like, then you will love the few coffee shops that the area offers.

There are many parks in this area. Many offer playgrounds for children and trails for walking or jogging. In addition, this is an area in which you can walk to everything. There is no need for a car, when you can walk to what you desire. The crime rate is low and the police patrols are pretty consistent, so you do feel safe in this neighborhood. Read Less
