I love West Chester! It's a charming small suburb of Philadelphia, PA. I've been living in the city of West Chester practically all my life and haven't considered moving. The schools are excellent if you have any children and there are lots of Colleges to attend. West Chester Uni ...Read More
versity (WCU) is the largest of the 14 state universities that make up the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE). And the neighbors are like family; everyone watches out for one another and their children.
The best areas in West Chester, PA are the parks and they are absolutely beautiful. West Chester has some of the longest, scenic walking trails around. When I decide to go hiking, Timber Top Farm Trail on 826 Downingtown Pike, West Chester, PA. is the place to go. The trail is about 2.5 miles long on a cultivated field. I usually keep this adventuring rolling all Summer long by joining one of my favorite club's, the Chester County Trail Club. The Club allows me the opportunity to fellowship with other hikers, where I have made lasting friendships.
West Chester has quite a bit of historical sites to visit. I always have somewhere new and exciting for the family to visit. The best historical sites are; Birmingham Hill Landmark, Chester County Historical Society, and Brandywine Battlefield.
