Living in West Bend, WI has a lot of benefits including good schools, diversity, low crime, and accessibility to a bigger city. We are close to the city of Milwaukee, but we still maintain a country small town feel. We have a lot of locally owned shops including a farmers market, different carnivals at Regners Park and a lot of shopping.

The best thing about West Bend is the schools. There are a lot of school activities that keep my children and me busy. The teachers and schools have always been welcoming and accommodating.

The nightlife is non-existent here, but Milwaukee has many places that might appeal to those that prefer the nightlife. There are many restaurants to choose from including some locally owned and chain restaurants. The Grasshopper restaurant is one of my favorites because of the atmosphere and the tasty offerings. I also love taking a late night trip to Jumbo's Frozen Custard whenever I'm craving a butter pecan special sundae.
