Pretty on the outside, rotten on the inside User Rating 0.5 rating By Anonymous ( Jun 26, 2019) Very closed community unless your the right kind of person. Town image and impression is EVERYTHING, as tourist wine dollars are so important. Terribly Depressed and Broke User Rating 0.5 rating By Norm5 ( Aug 27, 2015) I traveled there with family and apart from the Vineyards, I can say clearly that this is NO place to raise a family or work. It is isolated and has very few resources. The Veterans Administration building has very little air conditioning and you just sweat inside during the summ ...Read More er. There are dilapidated homes and buildings everywhere. I had hoped for a very different outcome, but reality is reality and this place is economically devastated. Beware, what you see about this city online is very far from reality. What is strange is real estate online for Walla Walla is pretty expensive but when you get there you are asking yourself why would anyone want to live here much less invest in the community. Sad for small town America these days, it seems to be everywhere but especially this place. Read Less
