Hawaii is known for tourism, but living in Waipahu offers much more than tourist activities. I love hanging out at the beach and immersing myself in the beautiful surroundings. My family considers ourselves water "rats" so we love to jet ski, snorkel, swim and go fishing. We also ...Read More
love to just relax and take in the cool breeze off the ocean.
My recommendation for those that visit my city is to try different activities that you have never tried before. Some things that may appeal to a visitor are visiting the USS Memorial, USS Bowfin Museum, and the Aviation Pearl Harbor Museum. Those places will allow you to walk back in time and understand what life was like at that time.
I love for history and the water but I also love to shop. The best thing about Waipahu is the unique shops that we have that have beautiful decorative pieces that you can't find in commercial stores. We also have outlet malls as well.
