Victory at Victoria, TX 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( Aug 11, 2010) I travelled to Victoria Texas last month with my husband and daughter to visit the Texas Zoo. The great thing about the Texas zoo is that it displays over two hundred species of animals indigenous to Texas in their natural habitat. We spent well over three hours at the zoo and th ...Read More en went to The Victoria Country club and enjoyed a game of golf.

After that there wasn't much else to do in Victoria, Texas except go back to our hotel room. There were not many activites for my daughter to take part in except for the trip to the park. The hotel room, although outrageously expensive, was not much to talk about. We had originally planned to spend five days in Victoria but we cut our trip short because we couldn't find very much to do.

The best part of the trip were the local restraunts that offered a mix of cuisines. We went to a local pizza shop one night and it was amazing. The fun part was that we could create our own pizzas. Then we decided that we needed to have a sit down dinner and went to an elegant restaurant in downtown and really enjoyed ourselves. Read Less
