I have lived in Venetian Village for 18 years.
Prior to the housing crash, the people here were friendly, and worked hard to maintain their properties. Now, there are many houses that are un kept and dirty. The kind of place where people feel free to toss 4 cars on the lawn and call it a day. For the residents that do have lovely well kept homes, this is a challenge. It hurts our property values, and makes selling your house difficult. Most people that live here are highly uneducated, and if you have any sort of money, they will make your life a living hell. Pros are, the neighborhood is quiet, with almost no crime. Schools are fantastic, and if you are a dog lover, this definitely a plus. Nearly everyone has a pet. Lakes are lovely.
Cons...There are too many people that have stopped caring about their property. No sidewalks for young children, which give the neighborhood a low level income vibe.
