My son has gone to all three schools he’s currently in 11th grade and is in duel enrollment doing both college and high school. His teachers are great and he hasn’t had any major issues with any of the other kids. Owning a home in Valrico can be noticeably more expensive than the state average, but that's because the median income is also quite a bit higher. It's an affluent city, so the local job market is geared towards high paying jobs. An unfortunate downside is that the shopping in Valrico leaves a little to be desired. You might have to do some driving throughout the city or to a neighboring town to find everything that you need. One of the best areas in the city is Sydney Dover Trails, which is a great place to spend a sunny afternoon. Read Less
