Amazingly Multi-cultural and family-oriented neighborhoods: Valley Stream, NY! 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) I've lived in Valley Stream, NY and I really loved it! The downtown was so inviting and the people there are really inclusive of all residents! I have seen households of different ethnicities getting along and treating all neighbors with respect and kindness.

The weather is typ ...Read More ical for New York, cold winters, mild summers (which I can appreciate, as I work in construction). Also, the best areas in Valley Stream I would say are South Valley Stream, North Valley Stream and the neighborhoods on Hungry Harbor road and Golf drive. It also deserves to note, Valley Stream is conveniently close to the John F. Kennedy International Airport (which is a definite plus for me).

Living in Valley Stream, NY is excellent! I understand and agree with all of my neighbors that say, they "would never want to leave this town". It is an incredible place to raise a family and I feel Valley Stream is the best town I've lived in so far! Read Less
