Inaccurate Description Completely 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( Jun 06, 2019) I have been here for three years and see so many positives for the area. If you are looking for a small town feel with great schools then this is for you. The desert scenery and the backdrop of the mountains are gorgeous. The cost of housing is reasonable and is diverse enough ...Read More for people to get a descent house as long as they have solid employment. The majority of the crime is petty crime. My only complaint is there are not enough gyms and I would like to see more sit down restaurants instead of fast food. If you are looking for a nice place to raise a family then this might be for you if you don't like giant cities. Read Less
Great Place and the Rating is Inaccurate (As of 3/31/18) 5 rating By Adm64904 ( Apr 01, 2018) This are is a great place to live. I currently live here and it is a great place. I would rate the amenities a D, Cost of living an F, Crime an A+, Education an A, Employment an A, Housing a B, and Weather a B. I would rate those things because there is not a lot of things here i ...Read More t is pretty expensive, there virtually no crime, there is one of the best school districts in Arizona, There are very wealthy people here and the weather is great for most of the year except the summer. People are super nice and very friendly. So currently, This Livability score is inaccurate. Read Less
Overall Great Town. 4 rating By .CaitlynnNem. ( Mar 09, 2018) Vail is definitely the place to go if you want to see a small town grow. I live in Esmond Station, so we're by all of the food, stores, schools, and whatnot. It's so sad to see this have a lower rating when it's outdated. There is a mall coming by (blueprints are still in plannin ...Read More g phase though,) and lots of fast food places. There has been a recent Ross open up by the Walmart area. The place has been out booming a lot lately. The schools are really good, as they take the kids and their education first. The food served at Esmond station is really good too. My sisters feel all fueled up after lunch, ready to do whatever is in their classroom waiting for them! Although, once a good neighborhood has to come with a con. There has been a traffic light debate, and it's causing upset people and car crashes without the light. The bright side though, is that the community is finally getting one in. That's all about Vail, athough I would like you to see it for yourself!-Caitlynn Read Less
