University City, MO Review User Rating 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) University City, MO is a suburb of St. Louis, MO. Like any other city there are both negatives and positives to living in this suburb.

For starters, there are a number of attractions you can enjoy in this city. When I was there, I loved to visit the St. Louis Art Museum, the Mis

With a population of just over 35,000, this city has decent sense of community and retains an urban feel as well. There are some drawbacks of course. The fact that it is just a 17 minute drive from St. Louis means it will have a somewhat higher gang problem than other suburbs.

On the other hand, there is a huge assortment of restaurants in University City. I was thrilled at the sheer number of ethnic restaurants available including Greek food and Latin dishes. Although the city is somewhat lacking in nightlife, the fact that it is so close to St. Louis more than makes up for that. Take heart, though, because there is an immense amount of mom-and-pop shopping sores right there in the suburb. Overall, University City definitely has its share of positives going for it. Read Less
