Ukiah has a population of largely illiterate TV watchers, FOX News victims, angry people that are appallingly ignorant. The "New Age" sector (Pot Farmers) give NOTHING back to the community that they have made so unsafe. Hypocrites. Many in the weed trade do it to finance their ...Read More
heroin addiction. Organic heroin, very progressive indeed. The police are on meth, the D.A.s and courts are corrupt. This county runs like a 50s "Banana Republic". Knowledgeable residents NEVER call the police or sheriffs here. It always goes badly. They are criminals. There is no journalism available to cover or discuss anything here. No genuine community but some closed cliques. Just tragically ignorant people blinded by greed and TV. Do you ever wonder how a thug like our president was elected? Come visit one of his hate communities, Ukiah!

Living in Ukiah, CA was one of the most relaxing times of my life. I was born in raised in a city, a very busy city at that, so I am use to mostly tall buildings and a lot of traffic. Ukiah is a place for camping and or simply getting away from all of the craziness of a city scen ...Read More
ery. There are lots of mountains, lakes and large old victorian types of homes. There is not much city life here, it is mostly a place to get away and enjoy peace and quiet.
The best places in Ukiah, CA is the campsites and fishing locations. The views are beautiful here. There is not alot of shopping malls or restaurants to shop at and explore, which is a downfall for someone who likes the city life. I would not recommend coming here if you like to shop. The grocery stores are far away from a lot of the areas, which is another downfall. The people here are kind and welcoming.
