A great place to live or work User Rating 5 rating By Anonymous ( May 15, 2019) Toms River is the seat of Ocean County government and there are many gated retirement communities in the area, so you're sure to find a good job here if you're an attorney or a physician. If not, you may have to look elsewhere to find a job, as I did. Toms River, NJ - A fast experience! User Rating 4 rating By Anonymous ( Jul 07, 2010) Toms River, NJ is a wonderful place to visit. With that being said, I was born and raised in NJ and find it to be a great place. Toms River is actually a small city located right along the River.

The city of Toms River is not what you may expect as a waterfront area as the prima

Toms River offers many shopping options mostly in the form of malls and strip malls. Restaurants are plentiful and delicious New York style pizza is quite common, in addition Italian Bistro, French Cuisine and Greek can all be found. Sports Bars & Grilles are also very common here in addition to every major chain restaurant that I have ever seen! Toms River makes a great place to visit for the weekend or to relocate to! I would recommend Toms River for families, couples or even individuals; to those who enjoys a fast paced lifestyle. Read Less
