Fun at the Fair in Timonium 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) Timonium is a pleasant, family oriented community that's about 20 minutes away from Baltimore. The area offers many conveniences and is well maintained. You can find shopping centers off of York Road and some good restaurants in the area. Surrounding towns like Hunt Valley and To ...Read More wson offer more options and are less than 20 minutes away.

Recreation in Towson include trails to go walking or bikeriding. The community is like being out in the country so there are many ways to enjoy the outdoors. The Maryland State Fair is held in Timonium and it's always a fun time. Living in Timonium will cost you a little extra overall, but it's worth it. It's a relatively safe area with good schools. You can find a reasonably priced apartment, but single family homes can be a bit pricey. The best areas in Timonium include those near the town of Lutherville.

Timonium and nearby towns and cities like Baltimore offer a variety of employment opportunities in different industries. The Federal and state government, Johns Hopkins University and Hospital, and the University of Maryland are a few of the employers in Baltimore.
