I don't really recommend living in Terrell, Texas. Even what are supposedly the best areas in Terrell are not very good at all. The crime rate here is already high and it is growing and getting worse every day. Housing is hard to come by because it is either too expensive and not ...Read More
worth the money or just run-down and in really bad areas. Finding a job isn't easy unless you just want to work in fast food places and there aren't even a lot of those available. The best thing about this place is the weather, which is pretty nice all the time, even though it can get kind of extreme in the summertime.
There isn't a lot to do here by way of entertainment either. We have The Gentle Zoo which is a nice enough place. It is smaller than most zoos. We have Xcape Adventures and my favorite, Thrillvania Haunted House Park, which is open year round. If you're looking for any kind of exciting nightlife, you are out of luck here. A few bars are about it.
