The Green And Grand Town of Taylors 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) Taylors is a comfortable and calm town in South Carolina that looks out to the hills that tread carefully into North Carolina.

I'm a South Carolina native, and the one thing I appreciate more than anything in my state is decent weather. The Lowcountry (two words, get it right!) ...Read More and much of the Grand Strand struggles beneath a blanket of heat and humidity during the summer, but Taylors gets a slight break from swampy conditions.

It's still the South to be sure, but living in Taylors, SC is a healthy break from the worst heatwave conditions in South Carolina. Weather aside, the city is a beautiful mix of nature's splendor and old downtown architecture that you'd see in the Andy Griffith Show's fictional Mayberry.

The best areas in Taylors, SC are around Kenilworth Drive and Reid School Road, but heading near Greenville on Highway 29 will take you to some amazing restaurants.

Whether you're looking for a comfortable and charming area to retire, or searching for a great place to live as Greenville expands as a technology powerhouse, Taylors is a great choice. Read Less
