West Enders have close access to Puget Sound waters and parks and many of the 1950-1990's homes have gorgeous water views. Many of the homes have double garages, spacious lots, and quality of life. The West End is ...Read More close to I-5, Highway 16, Gig Harbor, University Place and Fircrest. The West End is real close to great gyms, the quality grocery stores of: Fred Myer's, Trader Joes, Whole Foods, and Harbor Greens. There are a growing number of seafood eateries: Steamers and Boathouse 19 to name a few. The West End is home to one of Tacoma's Signature Parks- Titlow Beach- a 75 acre waterfront park on the Narrows. We are close to both gorgeous waterfront Chamber's Bay Golf Course and Walking Trials, and the famous 750 acre Point Defiance Waterfront Park with all of it signature amenities from walking trails to gardens to zoo and marine center. I love the beauty, tranquilly, and location of Tacoma's beautiful West End neighborhood. Read Less
