Syosset, New York in My Opinion 3 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) During the years I've lived in Syosset, I gotta say that it is a relatively easy going place. I know people typically get an idea about New York, but here in Syosset it feels like you are in your own little countryside. There are many country clubs along with Stillwell Woods Park ...Read More for the outdoor enthusiasts.

Along Muttontown, you will find the best areas in Syosset to shop, work out, and even a few daycare options for the busy parent. I know a member of the Crest Hollow Country Club and they always use public transportation to get from one side of town to the other. All in all this town is pretty well connected.

To those with deep pockets, you can expect to raise a family very well here in Syosset. Although cost of living is higher than other places in the state, our school system is top notch with most graduating in the higher percentile of their perspective groups. Not only is Syosset popular for the educators, our streets are ranked highly for being some of the safest. Read Less
