m in fear that a shooting, fight or robbery will occur from my experience and the amount of kids and gangs on these streets is sad. The sad part is the majority of cities in South carolina aren’t much different. Now if you want to enjoy south carolina to pretty much any city in greenville county. Greenville and Simpsonville are perfect examples also mauldin. But the Sumter just isn’t it. It really made me appreciate New york city a lot more

ities, but highways like 401 and 378 take you to the cities that have numerous job opportunities.
While walking around the town, I noticed that there are quite a few parks. People enjoy sitting outside on their porches or on park benches to take in the sights and the sounds of nature. Manchester State Forest is a beautiful area to explore with trails for the novice and those who are a bit more seasoned at hiking. I enjoyed walking my dog in some of the parks while living in Sumter for a short time because my hometown doesn't have many opportunities like that. The school system in Sumter seems like it's above-average with buildings that appear to be almost new and teachers who seem to truly care about the students.
