I moved to Strongsville, OH about two years ago because of a job offer. I have made several friends while here, and I wouldn't go back to Texas if I had to leave. This is a town where you can go to the grocery store and know at least one person by name. There aren't as many large attractions as I would like, such as amusement parks or sports venues, but there are several museums and historical buildings that I have been to on numerous occasions.

One of the fun things that I discovered is the Go Ape Treetop Adventure. This is something that will make you feel like you are living with the monkeys. There are platforms that are positioned in the trees. You walk along these platforms to get from one tree to another. You are so high up in the air that you think you could swing down from one branch to another.

When Christmas arrives, I visit SouthPark Mall. This is one of the largest malls I have been to, and everything is so neatly arranged and easy to get to instead of jumbled like other malls that I have seen. The center of the mall is transformed into a winter wonderland before Christmas. There are train rides for the children and an oversized snow globe. One of the things I've noticed is that the people who live here like to drink beer. There are several pubs and bars within a short distance of each other. Baseball is also popular among the people who live in Strongsville. Overall, this is a town where you can live life without worrying what others think.
