My street in Stow is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. I would say my street is actually very quiet. We are right in the middle of town near intersection of Kent and Darrow roads and even this busy spot feels safe. We walk around all hours with our dogs and have never had a p ...Read More
roblem. We really love all the parks around here. We think the number of parks here is unusual, and we use as many as we can. Being able to go for a relaxed walk in an attractive park is a real plus. The Cuyahoga Valley National Park Is really nice and Only about 15 minutes away.
There are many places to shop here. We have our own Macy’s, Target, Kohl’s, and many other of the chain stores. We have many groceries, all within just a couple minutes away. We are really close to a ton of eateries in Kent, Hudson and Cuyahoga Falls. There are boutique meat markets, natural food stores, bakeries and pastry shops all within minutes. Really everything is quite convenient here.
The only bad things? The weather is gray, cloudy and wet an awful lot. As in, serious cloud cover. And the housing is a real mix leaning to the inexpensive side. On the upside, it is easy to buy a decent home here and pay it off!
I think Stow is a truly good choice especially for people who want a very safe and friendly town at an affordable price.
