Storrs Connecticut: Beautiful Clean College Town User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) I experienced a terrific stay while living in Storrs Connecticut. The city is located in the district of Tolland County. Storrs is close to Portland and West Hartford Connecticut. The quaint college town proudly houses the University of Connecticut, which is affiliated with the C ...Read More onnecticut Repertory Theatre. The elite theatre is sponsored by the School of Fine Arts. Storrs is a top contender in education. It offers 8 public schools with stellar academics. The town is fairly pricey, but its housing and employment markets often offset the cost of living. Weather in Storr is normally comfortable and pleasant year round.

Some of the best areas in Storr Connecticut surround the Harry Gampel Pavilion. There is usually a plethora of things to do in this area. It offers shopping and dining and nearby boutiques. The area is close-knit and culturally diverse due to the young college community. Areas of town are nicely landscaped. This is a city that cares about its surroundings and its people. Read Less
