This is a very corrupt city. User Rating 0.5 rating By Anonymousanon ( Dec 19, 2017) The overall citizens are okay however the corruption within the city officials is insane. There is corruption in the police department,city council,Mayor and from city workers lowest to the top. If you're relocating for business purposes, think twice before coming to Michigan.

Sterling Heights offers Lakeside Mall and Partridge Creek to shop at. Teenagers have taken over Lakeside Mall, and Partridge Creek is the "classier" place to shop. There are many restaurants to eat at in Sterling Heights, some great ones are the Hamlin Pub and Boston's. Sterling Heights is a good place to raise a family, if you do have a secure job in the area. There are many great schools to choose from and many religious churches and synagogues in the area. The majority of the city is Christian.

Macomb Township is located right near Sterling Heights, and offers some great renowned high schools to choose from. Lutheran High North is a great choice, along with Dakota High School, if you have teenagers in the household.

All around, I really enjoy eating out in Sterling Heights and at any restaurant on Hall Road. Overall, Sterling Heights is a great city to live in! Read Less
