A gem amongst the suburbs. User Rating 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) South Euclid, Ohio is a suburb of Cleveland located near the city's east/northeast side. Though it is surrounded by the other not-so-good suburbs of Cleveland, South Euclid is a gem amongst the suburbs. Locals call it a peaceful and safe community, and the statistics agree. Crime ...Read More is on the decline in South Euclid as police presence strengthens. The city is geared more towards the middle to upper middle-class, with the housing market being reasonable just like the property taxes.

The nightlife in South Euclid is alright, though many people would agree Cleveland Heights is probably more fun. Shopping and dining are average, with most dining options being franchises. Even though South Euclid in its entirety is relatively bland, the locals love their city and defend it's reputation against any who say it is a bad place to live.

Overall, with a good public school system and being a safe and peaceful community, South Euclid is a good choice for families and anyone who is looking to settle down in the Cleveland area. It's close enough to the city without all the hassle of actually being there. Read Less
