The crime rate in the area is fairly low.

Some of the best areas in South Daytona Beach Florida surround the central downtown area. There is plenty dining and shopping in the area. There are also astonishing views near the beaches. It's a very friendly, quaint beach town where everyone knows each other. The town offers a lot of aquatic recreation. It is a great place to relax and live. I love that I could walk to the beach from almost any area. My family and I enjoyed camping in the area’s parks. The beaches are nice in color and always clean. It was a great experience. Read Less
