Twin Peaks it's Not User Rating 5 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) Most of the filming for Twin Peaks was done here and in neighboring towns, and Snoqualmie is definitely known for that connection outside of the State of Washington. For locals, it's better known as the home to the Salish Lodge and Spa, Snoqualmie Falls, and the Northwest Railway ...Read More Museum. Earlier in its history it was a major player in the Weyerhauser logging and milling operations.

So a number of people live and work in the Snoqualmie area, including the outlet mall in North Bend, just a few miles away. It is also a fairly short commute to Seattle and the Eastside, as these things go, being less than 30 miles. So if the Salish Lodge and Spa - perched on the cliffs above Snoqualmie Falls - is not what you're looking for by way of nightlife, it's not very far into Seattle for major league sports and theater. And the scenery, hiking, and food in Snoqualmie are pretty hard to beat, in all seasons. Read Less
