Smyrna, TN: City of Parks User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( Apr 23, 2018) I'm the outdoorsy type, so I love living in Smyrna, Tennessee. This town has acres and acres of park land. There's golf in Sharp Springs Park, kayaking or fishing on Stewart Creek, and plenty of ball parks and soccer fields in between. Smyrna parks show free movies outdoors in al ...Read More l summer.

Even the very best areas in Smyrna, Tennessee have low property taxes. There are some beautiful homes around, and the whole city has a quiet, small town feel. The restaurants stay open all night here because of the shifts at the Nissan factory, and if you are looking for a more exciting nightlife, Nashville is only 20 minutes away.

Smyrna has the very best in education and healthcare. Motlow State Community Community College provides many opportunities for students of all ages to better their lives. TriStar Stone Crest Medical Center is a state-of-the-art healthcare facility.

It is no surprise that US News & World Report placed Smyrna, Tennessee on its list of top ten cities to retire to.
