The best thing about living in Shelbyville is that the winters are mild compared to where I come from. I love having light snow and not having to worry about my car getting stuck for days. The summer is also great because it's not overly hot, but it can be humid. There are a lot ...Read More
of activities in the summer as well.
Living in Shelbyville is great if you enjoy living in a small town. Shelbyville is very quiet and has everything I need. It's not uncommon to see people waving. It seems like everyone knows each other here. We have a lot of parks, hiking trails, and horse stable tours. I usually branch out to other towns to shop as we don't have many places to shop. Lexington and Cincinnati are not that far so I usually make a full day trip once a month. We are very diverse and the city is growing which adds to the charm of Shelbyville.
