I experienced a nice lifestyle while living in Shady Hills Florida. The city is located in Pasco County. Shady Hills is a part of the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater Florida Metropolitan area. The city is the home of the Gulf Coast Homing Club and the Gulf Coast Classic competition. This town is a premier host for pigeon racing. The club has over 200 active members. Shady Hills has an unimpressive school system, they appear to lack progressive academics. There are viable employment opportunities here. Housing markets are very steep. The area is not expensive and the weather is enjoyable. Crime in the area has increased over the last few years.

Some of the best areas in Shady Hills Florida surround the Crews Lake Wilderness Park. The area has great walking paths and excellent scenic views. There are standard amenities nearby. I made it a point to make day trips over to Clearwater to enjoy other activities and sights. The community is great in Shady Hills and neighbors are friendly. For the most part, it is a quiet, lovely area.
