You are forgetting the climbing gym (strait up climbing), and the movie theater, live music nights at batch 44. Pool and fitness centres also.
Sure the crime and homelessness problems suck, but theirs more to do than you list.
Really good schools here too. ...Read More

sion of Vancouver, with construction galore, and crime far, far out of proportion to the location. The average house price isn't $600K, as most listings are $1million +/- $100K, and as rentals are both rare, and insanely expensive, moving to the area is extremely challenging. As mentioned, crime is a massive issue here, and break-ins (residential and business) are common. Because so many people are moving to the Sunshine Coast, getting on/off the Coast is a real challenge with its single ferry. As the council were so preoccupied with back-handers, they've let the infrastructure slip, so that simple things like access to clean drinking water is a legitimate and growing issue. Such a pity, as it truly was one of the most wonderful places to live.
