tural springs. The city's high school graduation rate is higher than most of Arkansas, which makes Searcy a great place to raise a family.
There are several schools to choose from both public and private. Harding University is in town as well as a branch of Arkansas State University.
The employment rate is slightly lower on average, but it isn't terrible. The city has seen a jump in its economy since new gas and oil drilling agreements were made. However, the city's residents are uneasy about these projects. They’re worried they will cause environmental concerns. Home values are a bit higher than usual as well. However, this means that buying in Searcy could be considered an investment.
I love to visit the Pioneer Village museum and Hourglass Escape Rooms for an exciting day out. Searcy is full of rich history to explore. It's an old railroad town as well.
The best places to visit in the evening are Harding University Theatre and Lasercade. My personal choice of restaurant would be the Rock House. They have healthy options and serve comfort food if you want to indulge. Searcy is a nice place to live. If you have a nest egg, I would recommend investing in this growing town. However, moving to Searcy is a great option that's mostly for families and college students.
