A Town with a Bundle of Excitement! User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) St. Rapids, Minnesota used to be a small town that over time grew into a large town. It has a unique Midwestern atmosphere that I embrace. The downtime area is where most of the excitement takes place. The small private colleges and universities gives it that overall college town ...Read More feeling. The cost of living is reasonable for the quality of homes and the amenities offered in the area.

The economy here is stable; the job growth has increased about 1% over the past year. Working professionals appreciate the opportunities that offer a great start for one in search of a new lucrative career. Winters are ice-cold and the heavy snowfalls can be a disadvantage. However, the climate is equipped with four seasons of spring, summer and fall, and all are quite pleasant and comfortable with mild temperatures and low humidity.

The attractions are simply phenomenal; to the north, the city features an entrance to the wilderness of lakes and parks. The city has access to other borderline cities such as the Minneapolis-St. Paul and Proximity to the Twin Cities area is an added benefit. I am certainly appreciative for the nearby restaurants, malls, and museums nearby. Read Less
