Sarasota Springs is Not Just Retirement 5 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) Sarasota Springs has the perfect weather especially the winters. This is what appealed to me coming from up north. There is something for everyone here from upscale to "normal" shopping. We have tons of beaches which is the best thing about Sarasota Springs. We get to enjoy the b ...Read More each all year long. We're not only known for retirement, but we have a great real estate market with homes for all price levels and a perfect place to raise a family.

Sarasota County schools are great. It has everything that my kids enjoy especially a great Spanish language program, football team and more. We have the public, private and charter schools to choose from, but I think the public schools are some of the best in Florida. The crime rate is very low as the Sarasota Police are very active in the area.

Living in Sarasota Springs has its perks particularly how diverse the people are. The diversity brings a lot of unique aspects to the city. Read Less
