Roswell, NM - Plenty To Do! 4 rating By Anonymous ( Aug 22, 2012) I lived in Roswell NM for about 6 months. I really enjoyed living here for the most part. My family probably wouldn't have moved away from this area if it was for a family emergency.

There are many attractions to attend in this local area. One great attraction would have to be t ...Read More he local zoo. A zoo trip is a great outing for any family trip. There are all different types of exotic animals at the Roswell local zoo. There are also many educational museums locals conveniently in Roswell. These are a great excuse to plan a family day out. State parks are located all over Roswell. You will be able to see plenty of scenic views when visiting these local parks. The community is great with holding events. While I was there they did several community related things. They also made sure to keep the local Roswell area looking great. There is an average amount of places to go out for a bite to eat with the family. There were several restaurants along with a few fast food places. Overall there is a variety of places to choose from when trying to eat a nice meal out. There are only a selected number of places when it comes time to have a fun night out. If you don't mind visiting the same bars over and over then there shouldn't be a problem. The bars offer great local specials just not a lot of variety. There are plenty of places to get any shopping you might need done. The mall is conveniently located right in the local area of Roswell. There are also several department and grocery store. You should have no problem shopping around for what you need with all of the local options.

Overall, Roswell NM is a great place to live. I did not experience any negative problems while living here. There is plenty to do to keep any family happy and entertained. Keep in mind how much there is to do in this area when thinking about a new place to relocate to! Read Less
