Great place to live 5 rating By Anonymous ( Jul 31, 2018) I moved here from San Francisco over 40 years ago to escape the crappy summers. This town has everything I want in a smaller community. 2 golf courses, several swimming pools, several performing arts centers, including the Green Music Center. Also many restaurants, stores, and a ...Read More multiplex cinema. The best part of living here is the perfect weather year around plus a beautiful university near by. The area is mo ...Read More stly known as a college town, although a lot of people also come to the area for retirement and to live a more laid back lifestyle. Things move a bit slower in Rohnert Park, but that does not mean that it is not a great place to live.

The people that live in the area are typically upstanding individuals and the neighborhoods are truly a place that you would be able to raise your kids without having to worry about hardly anything. The restaurants in this area are stunning and there is no question that some of the best wineries on the entire planet reside in the close vicinity of Rohnert Park. There is not too much nightlife in the area, unless you are a college student that is looking to hang out with some friends at a house party on a Friday or Saturday night. The landscape in this area is truly something to behold and if you love being outdoors, there are few places that are as spectacular and relatively untouched as Rohnert Park.
