Rock Hil, SC - A Nice, Cozy City User Rating 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 24, 2012) No trip to South Carolina is complete without visiting Rock Hill. Rock Hill is a boasted gem of South Carolina's vivid history, biography, music, and tourism. I have lived in Rock Hill in the past, after relocating from Wilmington, NC and I find the city definitely full of life a ...Read More nd fun. From the restaurants to the friendly culture, Rock Hill has a unique identity amongst the other cities in the state. One of the best things about Rock Hill is the location. If you cannot find what you need, Charlotte is just a quick drive away.

Although Rock Hill is a very nice and beautiful place to live, it is possible to get bored with the life there. If you are wanting to experience the nightlife, you will have to drive to Charlotte. But it is very easy to find a local bar and become easily acquainted with the regulars. The people of Rock Hill are very talkative and very receptive, even to strangers. The food in Rock Hill can be disappointing for vegetarians. I also found the food to be unhealthy and always heavy tasting, pretty much everywhere. There are a variety of restaurants, but vegetarianism did not feel very common. With that said, when I found something I liked, it tasted amazing. I found it very easy to gain weight in this area, as there was not much emphasis on getting exercise and considering healthier living. I think that this is a great city to live in temporarily. However, I could not see myself living there for more than 10 years.

Rock Hill has both a small town feel and the rush of living in an urban city. One of the best things about Rock Hill is the green scenery and landscape. The weather is also very nice throughout the whole year.
The parks in Rock Hill are amongst some of the beautiful parks in the state. All of these things contribute to the nice cozy atmosphere of the city.
