Ridgeland: A safe reality User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) I have been living in Ridgeland, MS for most of my life. Ridgeland is a place where I feel the safest. Within a few short steps, It has amazing stores and restaurants; therefore, I am never without anything that happens to pop up in my head. The best areas in Ridgeland to visit a ...Read More re the shopping stores at Renaissance at Colony Park, and Ely’s Restaurant and bar. The current unemployment rate at 3.9%, there are no shortages of jobs that are available with affordable housing that fits into the earning vs affordable housing ratio.

I have experienced an incredible stay in Ridgeland. I enjoy the bike and walking trails near the Renaissance, especially in the mornings. For those that have had a hard time finding a great church, all of the churches in Ridgeland are very warm and open and they all routinely have community events.

With that being said, majority of Ridgeland is very safe with a down-home, exhilarating community spirit. If you’re moving from a bustling city you will find that there is not a lot of traffic because the area is mainly made of suburbs. Read Less
