Richmond West: A Less Than Steller Florida City 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) I was living in Richmond West for a couple years before relocating elsewhere. The city itself is southwest of Miami and close to the Everglades. It's a small city that doesn't have a terrible lot to offer, but for some folks, it may be just right.

The city itself doesn't offer t ...Read More oo much in the way of education, so it's better suited for people who have already graduated from college. The job market is a little stronger and the average income is quite a bit above the state average.

As far as shopping goes, there's enough variety right in Richmond West to cover your day-to-day needs. I think the best area in Richmond West is Zoo Miami, which is a fun and enjoyable place that you can either visit your family with or by yourself. If you enjoy the year-round warm weather and places like the Everglades, then Richmond West will probably be a good choice for you. Read Less
