Housing has boomed in Cucamonga and has become an expensive place to rent or purchase. crime is low due to the area being so expensive which is a good thing. Law enforcement is great here, especially at night keeping it safe and clean. A nice place to raise your family and attend some of the top schools in the nation. Shopping stores and eating places all over. My husband retired and we bought a second home like many others as an investment and rent to good responsible renters. Moved out not worth it anymore 1.5 rating By Truth ( Dec 22, 2018) I lived here for many years and watched it's decline all because of foreigners.What happened is the Asians all come here buy up all properties and hide their money here from their government and then they rent them out for outrageous prices.The average couple or family cannot get ...Read More a house out here any more because of them they cause too much competition you cannot buy a house you cannot outbid them.As for renting they are ruining all the established neighborhoods with houses full of disrespectful renters often more than 1 family in each house.Then to top it all off they are building more housing with Apt buildings on every corner even in the parking lot of the library! so not only is it too expensive it's too crowded and you have a lot of undesirables in apts now walking around all in your neighborhoods.I don't know about you but I don't think paying at least half a mill to live with renters,houses full of illegals and Apt buildings everywhere is worth it.Not to mention it's not the nicest place anymore either graffiti everywhere and crime. All of our parks are full also mostly a spill over from Fontana. But now with the huge spanish speaking population its basically fontana. ...Read More If you want to buy a house steer clear of this area unless you speak spanish or can afford to live in gated areas. Now, I can say that I have been a resident of Rancho Cucamonga for the last 5 years and thanks to the quality of life it offers its residents, I definitely have no intention to leave.

We do not have the traffic or the crime rate but we sure do have the nightlife, bars, restaurants and location. Our bars and restaurants range from local karaoke spots like Rock the Keys, to big chain well-known places like The Yard House. We are also just a short drive from the beach and the mountains as well as less than an hour away from Los Angeles and Orange County.

Rancho Cucamonga really has transformed, once there were fields and dirt, and now we have places where residents can go to enjoy themselves. That includes the Cultural Center and the many activities that can be done at the Victoria Gardens Mall. Rancho Cucamonga's focus has been to attract visitors and turn them into residents; so far, they are doing a great job. Read Less
