Prior Lake, MN: A Laid Back Minneapolis Suburb 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) Prior Lake is an upscale town not too far from Minneapolis. The town is fairly expensive and has a high standard of living, but it's a bit lacking in terms of shopping and entertainment. For those things, you'll probably have to venture into a surrounding town. What Prior Lake do ...Read More es have plenty of, however, are beautiful spots throughout town to visit. Lower Prior Lake is one such location and is probably the best area in Prior Lake. During the summer, it's a fun, busy place.

It's easy enough to find a good job in the area, mainly because Minneapolis is so close. There's a good amount of finance and tech companies in the area, and it's very conducive to new business and entrepreneurs. If you've recently graduated from college and are looking to jump into a career or to branch out on your own, Prior Lake is a nice town that can offer you a lot of options. Read Less
