My $2500 a month rental house may seem like a lot to some of you, but it is worth it to live in this affluent, absolutely gorgeous, part of Kansas. I'm happily living in Prairie Village, which is a friendly community with lots of shops, restaurants, and great schools.

ly through Taliaferro Park off 79th Street, which is one of numerous parks in this beautiful city. The trees are lovely there, especially in the fall. The best area in Prairie Village is near the Starbucks on Mission Road, which is just around the corner from my wife's favorite place to go, the Bijin Salon and Spa, right off Mission Lane.
We frequently attend the Standees Theater on 69th Terrace for a movie after a nice dinner at the Blue Moose Bar and Grill on 71st Street. Sometimes, we'll change date night to a romantic breakfast, in which case we head to the Dolce Bakery, for some baked from scratch pastries.
