I grew up here in my childhood. I grew up here Kindergarten through the 8th grade. I tried to attend the Pottstown School District for Kindergarten. It was so bad that I switched within the first month to go to the Blessed of Teresa of Calcutta Educational Center in Limerick. ...Read More
Even though I lived in Pottsgrove which isn't that bad of a neighborhood for Pottstown, it still wasn't good. There were two incidents on my street. One, a pit bull attacked a bunch of pedestrians passing by. And there was a shooting on my street at a Rita's. Not a very good place to live.

Great small town feel! It's definitely not country, but it is still close enough to Philadelphia's "cheese-steak haven." Quite a bit of history in this "lil ole town." From near-by "Underground Railroad" landmarks, to the rich, German heritage that the area has to offer. Let's no ...Read More
t forget about the private school education that is offered, from Pine Forge Academy to the prestigious Hill School. The Hill School is by far, the best of the best. Well, maybe it's not for me to say, since I was never fortunate enough to be able to afford to send a child to the "Hill." Overall, I have to say that Pottstown is a place where it's all about what you make of it. "Dream Big and Hope for The Best!" Go Trojans!

I loved living in Pottstown PA. Living in Pottstown was living in a quiet little town in the suburbs of Philadelphia. I found Pottstown to be one of the best areas for an outdoorsy person like myself. The Perkiomen Trail would take me to the Schuykill River Trail that would take ...Read More
me to the Art Museum in Philadelphia. The trail would take me to Reading if I headed the other way. I could take the train partially back if the 30 miles became too far.
Living in Pottstown allowed me to expand my beer tasting knowledge by visiting one the breweries in the afternoons. The people were fun and the atmosphere was contagious and entertainment was offered.
Another one of the best things in about living in Pottstown would be the all the shopping conveniently available. The outlet mall was right there! If I preferred the bigger mall, the largest mall on the East Coast, it was only a short drive away.
