There are a number of northern cities located across rivers from southern cities. This is the case for P-Town, Portsmouth, Ohio. It is on the northern bank of the Ohio River facing Kentucky. This is where it got its nickname: "Where Southern Hospitality Begins."

s too high in Portsmouth, Ohio. The housing also should be upgraded. Citizens in Portsmouth are having a tough time finding jobs. The good news is that amenities are good and the cost of living is low. You can also get a good education in P-Town.
Wrestling is very big in P-Town with Jerry "The King" Lawler being from this town. Roy Rogers was from Portsmouth. Portsmouth actually had a few professional football teams in the 1920s. In fact, the present-day Detroit Lions trace their lineage back to this town, when they were the Portsmouth Spartans. You might enjoy the Scioto Ribber, Jade East Chinese and Market Street Cafe eating establishments here.
