Safe and quiet 5 square mile American exclave with mild climate, snow-capped mountains, and bald eagles on the doorstep to Vancouver BC's airport, ferries, shops, gyms, etc. Cost of living is low, air is clear, scenery is beautiful, lots of birds, no bears, and no stop lights. ...Read More
Population 1200 but adjacent to suburban Vancouver. Downsides: spotty cellular coverage, no local school past 3rd grade, occasional border backups, nearest U.S. hospital is over 40 miles away.
