Maryvale, Phoenix - Let's Play Ball! 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( Sep 05, 2012) I grew up in the Maryvale Phonenix, AZ and I couldn't think of a better place to call home. I have many found memories of the business owners who always treated me kindly. I had fun with neighbors before, during and after school.

One of my favorite events that happened while I l ...Read More ived in Maryvale was the spring training for the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball team, which always took place at the Maryvale Baseball Park. The park isn't far from downtown Phoenix and close to Glendale which is just north of Maryvale so neighbors would often take trips to watch the practices together.
If there was any crime, we were never aware of it and from what I hear and see when I go back for visits, it is still a very calm and tranquil place to live and raise a family.

Maryvale has its own hospital, YMCA, shopping center all the conveniences of any town.

The homes are older but they are still as sturdy as the day they were built. I personally think they have more character and charm than the modern homes these days. I love to look at a house and wonder where the people are now who use to live there. I'm really surprised to find some of the people who I knew as a child are still living in the same home.

Maryvale would be good place for anyone to call home and I'm not just saying that because I'm partial it's because it's true. However, if you're looking for a place where you can stay up all night, go clubbing, and eat at the finest restaurants it's probably not what you're looking for.
