Phenix City Alabama: A Jewel by the River 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( Apr 26, 2018) Phenix city is my home. This city in Alabama is a part of my childhood and I can say without a doubt that it is one of the best cities in Alabama and one of the most family friendly places to be.
Phenix city recently has started expanding its attractions. The downtown area is ex ...Read More cellent with great nightclubs and restaurants. I love the food so much. My favorite ice cream shop is downtown in Phenix city. Now they have the kayaking and water rafting attraction. With the Chattahoochee river running alongside the city it has a very scenic and natural energy about it.
The places to shop at are numerous as well. Phenix city is close to Georgia and they tend to share attractions. This doubles the fun that can be found in Phenix city. The carnivals and fairs and local events will have the whole family entertained for generations. There is always something going on in the community and the people are friendly and sport some of that classic southern hospitality. Read Less
