I've never regretted the decision. I really like it here for so many reasons. Whenever I want to go back to New York City, it's also easy. The train takes only about an hour.

I live a short walk from the downtown area, which I love. It's very charming. There is a vibrant art community here and lots of great restaurants, coffee houses. The extent of "nightlife" here is going to pubs. There's a large community center which hosts many events on a regular basis.

It's beautiful here in the Summer. I love the farmer's markets and outdoor concerts. As in general for all of New York State, winters are rough. When the weather is nice there are nice places for hiking, boating, and biking. Read Less
